1. Always use common sense and be cautios when using the Looftlighter. Only use the Looftlighter to light barbecues or hearth fires. Never use the Looftlighter for things that it is not intended for.
2. Never use lighter fluid together with the Looftlighter. Make sure that flammable objects or materials are kept at a safe distance.
3. Do not let children use the Looftlighter. Store the Looftlighter out of reach of children.
4. Protect the Looftlighter from rain and humidity.
5. During use, and shortly thereafter, the tip of the Looftlighter becomes very hot. Always unplug it and let it cool off after use.
6. Make sure that the electrical cord does not come into contact with the grill or fire. Never use a Looftlighter with a damaged electrical cord. Only use extension cords with ground.
7. Be aware that ashes and ember might stir up when using the Looftlighter.

NOTE:

The first time a Looftlighter is used it may emit smoke from the nozzle. This is normal and nothing to worry about.
